I love this, “Each day, choose beauty from your own garden.” Such a lovely way to describe glimmers! And IFS mentions too! It’s something I’ve just learned about recently and it seems like there’s a lot of richness in that system.
Thank you for reading🥰 Yes!! IFS is rich. I feel it’s hopeful, compassionate, flexible & dare I say- feels almost playful in its premises; reminiscent of childhood fantasies where pretend play& imaginary friends are allowed to be invited into a part of our daily worlds.
“We can start over” is such an important reminder. I’ve been taking a writing break in the midst of a bout of grief, but am feeling myself ready to return and posts like this are so helpful to stay grounded in the realities of our humanness, and to give ourselves all the grace and permissions we can. I hope you have plenty more tea and poems.
Awe, Thank You Monica♥️-For reading, for seeing me in my humanness & for sharing your own. I just started to dig in to WITD’s comments from Jeannine’s last post. So many, including yours, feel like poems themselves.✨ It has become my favorite way to walk through my grief. The tender noticing feels so safe; so human & beautiful. I am so happy to hear you are returning. Your writing is gorgeous.
🥰So glad it resonated!! Thanks for reading & taking the time to comment!

Your poem was so beautiful! I could hear all parts chiming in and asking questions and telling their story!
