Yay! So glad you dove in! I really like the juxtaposition between the language of experience vs. that language for instructions. They are different enough to really give us that slightly off balance feeling which to this reader, captures the experience you are describing really well.
Have you ever read Jennifer Egan’s short story “Black Box?” It is written completely in second person and it gives the story in a set of instructions with a super creepy feel. You really capture some of that here! Her short story ended up being developed into a chapter in her latest novel!

This was a first attempt at ‘something’ for me. I’m allowing myself to be messy; & while I’m proud of ‘diving in,’😂 what I’m reaching toward will hopefully develop me enough to one day look back upon this piece & say “look how much I’ve grown.”
This is excellent. Just wow. Manual well received. I’m glad M has it, if she didn’t this comprehensive guide would not exist.
Sometimes the deep dive provides more oxygen for clear perception of horizons.
